UChicago Medicine | AdventHealth CNA Scholarship

The purpose of this annual scholarship shall be to provide financial assistance for promising students seeking higher education who have the ability but not the financial resources to attend college.

CRITERIA:

• Are accepted to or are enrolling in the Certified Nursing Assistant program
• Meet all eligibility of the CNA program
• Must reside in District 502
• Submit a 250 word (maximum) written statememnt of career goals and the potential impact of a secure paid position at UChicago Medicine | AdventHealth on your career
• If selected as a potential recipient, the applicant could be interviewed by a selection committee of representatives from College of DuPage faculty and/or administration/ and a UChicago Medicine | AdventHealth professional(s).
• Must be available to participate in the Mayclinical section of the COD Cohort
• Voucher recipients agree to consider a one-year paid position at UChicago Medicine | AdventHealth upon the successful completion of the CNA exam, most likely in a PCT position
