KOWIN Chicago Hope Scholarship Program

KOWIN Chicago Chapter, through its nonprofit foundation Chicago Korean Women’s Foundation (CKFW), whose purpose is to promote charitable, cultural, and educational services for women and girls of Korean descent in the United States and across the globe, established Scholarship Program to select Korean American female students that demonstrate leadership potentials, good academic standing/potential for future improvements, role model behavior, and financial needs.

Eligibility
● Must be a woman of Korean descent
● Must be enrolled in a community college as a full-time student
● Must be a resident of the State of Illinois
● Exhibits Community Service and Dedication

Selection Criteria
● Overcoming financial hardships
● Community service and dedication
● Vision for oneself and for the Korean American community
● Application & selection process for 2023: Now through the end of June 2023
