Ford Auto Tech Scholarship

Ford Fund is teaming up with Ford Dealers to welcome the next generation of auto technicians by awarding $5,000 ($2,500 per semester) tuition scholarships to financially struggling students pursuing careers in auto and auto/diesel technology.

Spanning over 20 states and 292 eligible schools, the Ford Auto Tech Scholarship will grant 400 need-based awards to current or future students enrolled in post-secondary auto, diesel, or auto/diesel technician training programs in the Greater Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Phoenix, Kansas City, Memphis, Miami, Seattle, and Cincinnati areas.
This need-based scholarship is applied to a student’s school tuition account and may be used for all costs of attendance, including tuition, tools, living expenses, and transportation.

At LNESC, we understand the importance of investing in the future generation of students to help them achieve their goal of attending college. This is why we have collaborated with the Ford Fund and TechForce to promote a scholarship opportunity to students in the local area.

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
• Any individual (including high school graduates, career-changing adults, veterans, reskill, etc.) who is pursuing a degree or certificate in automotive technology (including diesel) at any post-secondary institution within the eligible areas. • Be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or approved DACA status
• Must demonstrate financial need to apply
• Be an enrolled future student or an active, current auto, diesel, or auto/diesel student at a post-secondary Institution in good standing
• Have a completed and approved FAFSA with an EFC/SAI under 40,000 on file at campus. DACA students will have financial need verified by campus.

The application process is open from March 4, 2024, through Aug. 31, 2024. Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis as applications are received and reviewed. To apply, please visit https://techforce.org/lnesc/
