The Sharon Huck Scholarship

This application is for Fall 2025.

PURPOSE: The Glenbard North High School Scholarship recognizes a Glenbard North High School Senior who has achieved academic excellence and served school and community and to encourage his/her higher education.

Applicants must have the following criteria:

  • Applicants must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA or better for junior year and three quarters of senior year
  • Must retain a GPA of 3.0 or greater throughout the academic year at College of DuPage in order to retain these funds.
  • Applicants must include a written statement showing service to their school and community through extra-curricular activities (involvement in music, drama, newspaper, yearbook, or clubs to take precedence over straight academic involvement)
  • Submit letters of recommendation from teachers, coaches, sponsors, and/or counselors speaking to the applicant’s moral character, service, and integrity.
  • Applicants are responsible for communicating with their recommenders to ensure that materials are submitted prior to the application deadline.

  3. Please upload your current high school transcript, it should include ALL completed semester grades. If you or your school have recently sent your official transcript to College of DuPage, you still need to upload a copy of the file here (unofficial copy is accepted and must contain student identifiable information, i.e. student name, date of birth, address).
