FGMA Future Architects Scholarship

The FGMA Future Architects Scholarship aims to support students pursuing a pre-architecture technology associate degree with aspirations to transfer to a four-year institution to pursue a professional degree in architecture. This scholarship is intended to help support the student in their Fall semester second-year pre-architecture studies at COD.

Criteria:

• Applicant is currently a first-year Pre-Architecture Technology major enrolled in ARCH 1131 Introduction to Architectural Design in the Spring semester.
• Applicant has a minimum of 3.0 GPA in ARCH 1100 Introduction to Architecture and ARCH 1121 Architectural Design Communication
• Applicant is planning to enroll in ARCH 2201 Design I for the following Fall semester
• Applicant must submit a 300-500 word essay describing how this award will help you continue pursuing your educational and career goals in architecture
• Financial need may be considered
• Preference may be given to first-generation, under-resources,, or underrepresented applicants
