Downers Grove VFW Book Scholarship

The goal of the Downers Grove VFW Book Scholarship is to support students with financial needs not covered by GI Bill programs.

Criteria:
Student must be currently serving or previously served in the Armed Forces.
Applicant must be a current member of a Veterans Service Organization. I.E. VFW, American Legion, AMVETS, Disable American Veterans, Paralyzed Veterans of America or Vietnam Veterans of America.
Priority will be to VFW applicants; if these are not fulfilled, the remaining funds will be disbursed to other VSO applicants.
Applicant must submit a scanned copy of a document showing their current membership with the organization.
