The Foster Forward Scholarship

This annual scholarship award shall be to provide financial assistance for a student who has aged out of Foster Care seeking higher education who has the ability but not the financial resources to attend college.

A. Students applying for this scholarship must meet the following criteria:
1. Must be residents of District 502;
2. Has aged out of Foster Care;
3. Achieved a cumulative high school GPA of 3.00 or higher;
4. Must be registered for at least 6 credit hours per semester;
5. Must be presently enrolled in a certificate, degree, or transfer program;
6. File FAFSA for the applicable academic year.

Award: One $1,000 scholarship
