Maria Martinez Cosmetology Scholarship

This application is for Fall 2025.

PURPOSE: To provide financial assistance for a promising student seeking a degree or certificate in cosmetology who has the ability but not the financial resources to attend college.

Applicants must have the following criteria:

• Applicants must be a resident of Community College District 502.
• Applicants must be pursuing a degree and/or certificate within the COD’s cosmetology program.
• Applicants must satisfy all College of DuPage admissions requirements, including any required placement tests for their program of study.
• Applicants must demonstrate financial need.
• Preference is given to a single parent and/or a person of Latino descent
