West Chicago Garden Club Scholarship

This application is for Fall 2025.

PURPOSE: To support a student seeking higher education within COD’s Horticulture Program.

Applicants must have the following criteria:

• Must be currently enrolled in Horticulture classes and pursuing any certificate within the Horticulture Program
• Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester
• Applicant must submit a one-page essay discussing why they have chosen horticulture as a career path and what their future career aspirations are within are within the field
• Applicant must attend a garden club meeting to meet with the donors
