Susan Alice Scanlan Krenek Memorial Endowed Scholarship

This application is for Fall 2026.

PURPOSE: To provide financial support to a student in their pursuit of higher education

Applicants must have the following criteria:

• Applicant must be a second-year student at College of DuPage who has completed at least 30 credit hours.
• Applicant must be a full-time student and resident of DuPage County.
• Applicant must have a demonstrated financial need. Student must file FAFSA for academic year.
• Applicant must demonstrate successful academic performance, as well as, have and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5
• Applicant must provide a letter of recommendation from a COD Faculty member.

The scholarship may be awarded to a student for no more than 2 semesters.

Award: $1,000 – ($500 for Fall and the additional $500 awarded in Spring if GPA maintained)
