The Foster Forward Scholarship

This application is for Fall 2026.

PURPOSE: This annual scholarship award shall be to provide financial assistance for a student who has aged out of Foster Care seeking higher education who has the ability but not the financial resources to attend college.

Applicants must have the following criteria:

• Must be residents of District 502;
• Has aged out of Foster Care;
• Achieved a cumulative high school GPA of 3.00 or higher;
• Must be registered for at least 6 credit hours per semester;
• Must be presently enrolled in a certificate, degree, or transfer program;
• File FAFSA for the applicable academic year.
