The Second Chance Scholarship

This application is for Fall 2026.

PURPOSE: This annual scholarship award shall be to provide financial assistance for two students seeking higher education who have the ability but not the financial resources to attend college.

Applicants must have the following criteria:

• Must be residents of District 502
• Must be presently enrolled in a certificate, degree, or transfer program after an interruption in their studies
• Must be registered for at least 6 credit hours per semester
• Previously attended a four-year college or university and failed to meet academic standards
• At least one semester at COD as a full-time student with a GPA of 3.5 or higher at College of DuPage
• File FAFSA for the applicable academic year.
