William "Bill" Carter Memorial Scholarship

This application is for Fall 2026.

PURPOSE: This scholarship was created by his family in memory of William “Bill” Carter and in honor of his role as a union pipefitter for over 35 years for Local 562 in Missouri. Bill was dedicated to his craft and strove to be an ambassador for his local wherever he worked.

Applicants must have the following criteria:
  • Applicant must be enrolled in at least 3 credit hours in the Welding Technology or HVAC/Refrigeration programs.
  • Financial need may be considered.
