Rochelle Favale Memorial Scholarship for Students with Disabilities and English Language Learners

This application is for Fall 2026.

PURPOSE: The Rochelle Favale Memorial Scholarship is to support students with disabilities and English language learners. Rochelle was known for her generosity, encouragement, and ability to make every student feel valued, supported, and capable of success. Her compassion and commitment to helping others left a lasting impression on students, colleagues, and the broader college community. This scholarship honors Rochelle’s legacy by supporting students who have faced challenges in their educational journey.

• Applicants must have the following criteria:
• Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.0
• Preference will be given to students with disabilities and English language learners.
• Applicants must submit an essay describing a challenge or barrier they have faced in their educational journey and how they have worked to overcome it.
