Molex Scholarship

This application is for Fall 2026.

PURPOSE: The Molex Scholarship supports College of DuPage students pursuing careers in engineering, advanced manufacturing, electronics, information technology, and other STEM-related fields. The scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate academic commitment, innovation, and the potential to contribute to the future workforce.

• Applicants must be enrolled at College of DuPage.
• Applicants must be enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours during the award semester.
• Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
• Be in good academic standing with the College.
• Be pursuing a degree or certificate in an eligible STEM-Related program, including but not limited to:
• Engineering
• Engineering Technology
• Electronics Technology
• Mechatronics
• Manufacturing Technology
• Computer Information Systems
• Computer Science
• Cybersecurity
• Industrial Technology

Preference may be given to students who are:

• First-Generation college students
• have participated in internships, apprenticeships, robotics, engineering club, or other technical or leadership activities.
• Demonstrate leadership, teamwork, or community involvement.
• Express an interest in pursuing a career in manufacturing, engineering, technology, or innovation.

Essay Requirement:
In 300 words or less, describe: Why you chose your field of study? How receiving the Molex Scholarship will help you achieve your goals?
