Molex Scholarship
This application is for Fall 2026.
PURPOSE: The Molex Scholarship supports College of DuPage students pursuing careers in engineering, advanced manufacturing, electronics, information technology, and other STEM-related fields. The scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate academic commitment, innovation, and the potential to contribute to the future workforce.
Applicants must have the following criteria:- Applicants must be enrolled at College of DuPage.
- Applicants must be enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours during the award semester.
- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- Be in good academic standing with the College.
- Be pursuing a degree or certificate in an eligible STEM-Related program, including but not limited to:
- Engineering
- Engineering Technology
- Electronics Technology
- Mechatronics
- Manufacturing Technology
- Computer Information Systems
- Computer Science
- Cybersecurity
- Industrial Technology
Preference may be given to students who are:
- First-Generation college students
- have participated in internships, apprenticeships, robotics, engineering club, or other technical or leadership activities.
- Demonstrate leadership, teamwork, or community involvement.
- Express an interest in pursuing a career in manufacturing, engineering, technology, or innovation.
Essay Requirement:
In 300 words or less, describe: Why you chose your field of study? How receiving the Molex Scholarship will help you achieve your goals?
